In 1958 a group of personnel professionals, representing local, private and public organizations, began to meet for the purpose of sharing information and discussing mutual human resource problems. As the group grew in numbers and recognized the value of networking, they established the name...Northwest Industrial Council. As of July 1990, this name was changed to the Northwest Human Resources Council.
Today the membership is comprised of approximately small to medium-size companies as well as 200+ HR individuals.
